Trauma Counselling
Sensitive, professional support after a traumatic or distressing experience.
Introduction
A traumatic event — an accident, an assault, a loss, exposure to violence or a frightening incident at work — can affect how you sleep, think, feel and relate to others, sometimes long after the event itself.
Trauma counselling offers a safe, contained space to work through that experience with a registered professional. Support can help individuals process difficult experiences and develop healthier ways of coping. It does not erase what happened, and it does not promise a fixed outcome.
