Substance Abuse Support
Compassionate, non-judgemental counselling for the person affected and for those close to them.
Introduction
Substance use rarely begins as a problem on its own — it often grows out of stress, pain, habit or circumstance. It affects the person using, and the family and friends around them.
Counselling offers an honest, respectful conversation without shame. It does not demand that you have everything decided; it helps you understand what is happening and take the next step, whatever that is.

Questions
Good to know
Do I have to stop using before I come?
No. You can come as you are. Counselling is a place to talk honestly, not a test you need to pass first.
I am worried about someone else — can I come?
Yes. Family members and friends can have their own sessions to understand, cope and decide how best to support.
Is this a rehabilitation centre?
No. This is counselling and psychosocial support. Where medical detox or a residential programme would help, we will help you connect to appropriate care.
